Hello Ladies!

I am located in Salem and have been part of the Indie community for almost 2 years now.  I am sad to say that I haven't taken advantage of all this site has to offer.  I would love to be able to connect more with local crafters and share ideas.

Hi Portland Indies! I think this is the closest group to me. I am in McMinnville, OR. I just joined Indie Business Network over the weekend and we just moved to Oregon in February.

Hi Charity,

Nice to see you here at Indie. There are some super forums where we discuss sals and marketing, including craft fair events. Most of them can be found in our Sales & Marketing Forum. You can read some super learning discussions, ask questions and meet others with simialr interests -- we all help each other!

I am gearing up for some craft fair events in November and December and am new to this "arena". Just wondering if anyone has some helpful ideas, thoughts, input... all thoughts are welcome and appreciated! Thank you.

I'm sorry the Portland event didn't work out this weekend - I was looking forward to it. I'm excited to hear about the January event, however if it ends up being scheduled for January 14, I will not be able to attend as I will be celebrating my daughter's birthday that day. I will be following the discussions and if it turns out that a different date is selected, I will definitely put it on my calendar!

Hi Grace!

As you know, we are considering having multiple simultaneous events on a particular day on a Saturday in January! This will get more momentum nationwide, and also use technology to make it happen.

I'm figuring out a plan. Meanwhile, any suggestions on the date that works best for everyone would be great. I know January is a long way off, but to make this work, we'd have to pick a date soon.

I'm looking at January 14, 2012.

Some people have discussed that some areas of the country may have weather issues. For them, I think we just have a backup date and use this site to announce which locations are on or off, if weather is a factor.

Would love your thoughts!

I have been so excited to meet all the NW folks...and I think if we can chat some here or on the phone we can have a phenomenal gathering in January.  What are your thoughts? What are your interests with or from the group?  Would love to hear from you!
