Donna Maria, we have moved to Tampa, Florida. I am joining the Tampa Indie Group and would be honored to be the leader of the group! My personal and Indie group plans for 2013 are to continue with my mission (in short) to Share, Encourage, and Grow (long form) to share with and encourage others to realize and grow their (God-given) gifts and talents. As a leader I will be an advocate for small business and encourage positive growth through group meet-ups and involvement. As you know, I am currently the Cincinnati director, which ultimately was difficult for me due to my very rural location. I am excited to move back to an urban area where I will be able to reach out and be involved. My business at this time consists of writing (a goal of 4 additional books this year), consultation, and I may fire my soap business back up. Pivoting has definitely become familiar to me! Thank you Donna, that's great info and confirmation. That's exactly what I have been doing-working on marketing. I have website and blog for "His Garden Naturals", a facebook page, twitter account, and recently began a shophandmade store. I'm working on more networks such Yelp, Google and more. I just graduated with my MA in Human Services/Marriage & Family Counseling, and I'm finishing up my last seminary MA class this summer and I will have even more time to invest in my line.  I'm suppose to have a launching party to introduce my products in the fall or winter with a host of friends, family, clients and others to support and BUY! :) I definitely understand about not making much income from new businesses is average from being around a lot of business and organization directors and my own research as well-this is what I also tell many others. I will join the Indie protege as early as this weekend and hopefully by the fall or winter, purchase insurance. Thank you so much for your advice and support. This is rare and a special opportunity.

Hi Donna, I am already a non-paying member and as soon as
I can, i will purchase insurance from Indie. The only thing is that the insurance is tailored towards companies who gross at least $5,000 annually and I am new which means I make no where near that so what does one do when they just began their buisness and in the process of marketing and reaching out to customers to try and make $$$,  but can't yet afford insurance that costs more than they make from sales???? Heeellllpp! :)

Maybe it has something to do with the computer in my office. I'll check out the link you sent me this evening.
