Thank you. No, I didn't mean to suppress comments. I usually make sure that the comments is left open with no appoval needed. If that is happening, what can I do to change it? Or can you change it on your end? Any revisions you made are fine. As I've said before, I trust you.
BTW, I think I've found a great place for a Local meet-up. I'll email you with the info in a bit.
Hey Donna Maria! Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments. We've been around for awhile. We started a company called Bathed & Infused in 2005 and bought Bath Nation from Meghan Micozzi in 2006. I knew about Indie Beauty but never had time to research it much. Recently a member (Gigi Saint-Fort) inquired about product photography (which I do more than Bath Nation stuff actually) and I so I thought I should get involved. Thanks again for the welcome!
Thank you dM, its a great pleasure being a part of Indie Beauty. I've had so many networkers helping me here. A special thanks to Susan Mann who is a great help with my soap-making. I would be more than happy to have some activities happening in Asia in regards to Indie Beauty. Please let me know of any activities. Thank you again for giving me an opportunity to be apart of Indie family.I made good purchases and met some nice friends. Great day..
Hi dM, thanks for accepting the friendship request. It is truly great to be able to connect with you thru social media. Each day on IndieBeauty and thru all that you offer in your blogs, webcasts, etc I am finding more and more people that inspire me - you for one, Susan from Manor Hall, Lela Barker of Bella Lucce and I'm sure there will be more. You are all incredible business women and I can only hope to be one as well someday. This truly is a great support system and network of women and so glad that I landed here. Keep up the fantastic work! ~ Gigi
Hiya, dM... Great show you and Darryl put out last night. Me and Jason loved the chat feature, and it was so good to be talking with Gigi Valina. She's in the planning stage of her business, and was inspired by what you guys were telling her. I was reminded of how I felt all those years ago when I also found you and IndieBeauty. This is a great place, and thanks for a great show!
Thank you~ I do have a question, should small inde biz have lab testing done for products entering the spa market? That is the direction i am headed. currently I am consulting with a spa and Massage school.
I'm an engineer by profession, started a florist business 3 years ago with my sisters, Say It With Flowers.
Had the curiosity to make soaps this year and started off another baby, Glitzy Secret. Glitzy Secret is a cosmetic, bath and handmade jewellery line we are working on. It will take a year or so to go big, currently I am making soaps and candles as gifts to be included in my flower baskets. I made some MP and CP soaps lately and I like them. The only problem I have here is sourcing for materials for soap making here in Malaysia.
I made my first online ordering from BrambleBerry , but I find them a little pricey. Could you suggest me any other wholesale soap suppliers.
I wanted to quickly update you on my progress with Facebook. I know it has been a while since we spoke in January, but it is done! I have a really great Microsite on Facebook now that I can have consumers visit, view my blog, take a survey and buy products-all on Facebook! I really wanted to post this message when the American Express Post was up, I will have to find it again. I want to show other Indie Members that you can do Social Media and have fun with it(and it didn't cost an arm and a leg)! My Microsite is connected to my blog and Twitter, Ebay and other outlets so I only do one update and it automatically appears on Facebook. Many people have not heard of Microsite's because they are new, but it is a great way to be active in social media. Please check out my site at www.facebook.com/skinperfection
Again, thank you for making me feel so welcome. You are an amazing example of how important it is to really connect with your customers--thank you. I am really looking forward to learning, and giving to this community. I only have a couple of business items to take care of before I launch, but I will be sure to let you know when I do.
